ViewSonic has launched their new ebook readers, VEB620 and VEB625, which features touchscreen, WiFi and E-ink panel technology which feels like a traditional paper (for VEB625).
The ViewSonic VEB620 comes with 6-inch E-Ink panel with 800×600 grey resolutions, 2GB internal memory, no WiFi, G-Sensor, 0.5W speaker, Mini USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm headset jack, SD card slot, long lasting battery life up to 8,000 pages viewing. This model support various text formats (XML, HTML, PDF, TXT and RTF), MP3 video format, and various language support, ranging from English to Turkish.
Meanwhile, ViewSonic VEB625 comes with 6-inch touchscreen panel with 800×600 grey resolution, 2GB internal memory, WiFi support, G-Sensor, 0.5W speaker, Mini USB 2.0 ports, 3.5mm headset, SD card slot. The battery can last up to 6,500 pages viewing – fewer than VEB620. Other than this, the specs are the same with VEB620.
Both models are available in black and white color and is now available in Europe for $269 for VEB620 and $315 for VEB625.
