Remember that you should take note how many memory slots your laptop have and what operating system on your notebook system. If you have 32-bit Windows Vista, you can only install 2GB RAM max on your laptop (depends on your BIOS), otherwise it won’t recognize the new RAM or not able to read the full memory.
