NB200 WiFi Fix

The Fn+F8 hotkeys should be working on Toshiba NB200, but if it can’t be turned on, it doesn’t mean that the wireless on NB 200 is not working. Before reinstalling your NB200 drivers, you can try these out. The Fn+F8 buttons come out with a few functions which you can enable every time you press the combo key. These combo key would enable or disable certain device:

  • Enable BT (Bluetooth) only
  • Enable WLan (Wireless) only
  • Enable 3G  (works on certain models)
  • Enable all devices (not recommended, wasting battery life)
  • Disable all devices

Enabling the WiFi on Toshiba NB200 netbook running Windows 7 requires you to press Fn+F8 buttons several times until the WLAN is enabled on your laptop. You can check it by looking at the blinking led which shown you the activity, or by pinging the router from the command prompt.
