Sony has released a new laptop, VAIO VPCZ11X9E which is equipped with Quad SSD for storage. The new ultra-fast laptop comes with 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-520M processor, 4GB DDR3 RAM expandable up to 8GB, NVIDIA GT 330M graphic card and Intel HD graphic. The solid state drive is 128GB storage.
Quad SSD features makes the laptop more faster with added capacity, since it is equipped with 4x128GB or 64GB modules with RAID 0. Using SSD is a lot faster than using traditional HDD. The laptop comes with 13.1-inch TFT LCD display capable of displaying 1600×900 pixel resolution. Other features are: DVD drive, ethernet card, WiFi support, USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth, optional 3G modem, media card reader, Li-Ion battery.
With only 1.4-kg weighs, Sony VAIO Z SSD laptop is preloaded with Windows 7 Professional 64-bit and is now available for 1699 Euro.
