Sigma has released DP1, a compact digital camera which comes with 14MP sensor pixel Foveon X3 image processing and TRUE (Three-layer Responsive Ultimate Engine). It comes with 2.5-inch LCD display capable of showing 230,000 pixel resolution. Other features worth to note is the capability of recording video with 320×240 pixel resolution at 30fps.
The new innovation from Sigma is the ability to shoot RAW, which often only can be found on DSLR cameras. This digital pocket camera comes with 16.6-mm f4 wide lens. No words on pricing but expect Sigma DP1 to be available on market in November.
