Sidekick 4G is a highly popular messaging phone for younger consumers. T-Mobile and Samsung has teamed up to build the phone which comes with Google Android OS and 4G data network. The hardware is similar to Samsung Galaxy S smartphone. The Sidekick 4G is now released and can be purchased with a reasonable price on a two-year contract.

Sidekick 4G looks very similar to Samsung Galaxy S with a 3.5-inch display, QWERTY keyboard and 1GHz Hummingbird processor with Android 2.2 OS. A choice of not to make the handset an Android pad which is more popular might be because it is targetted for teens and want to keep the brand. Video call is supported by using the front-facing VGA camera. Still photos can also be captures using 3MP camera on the rear handset. Storage is plenty, because it provides up to 32GB internal memory and 2GB micro SD card. Networking and internet is also supported by Wi-Fi connectivity, bluetooth, GPS and 21Mbps HSPA+ connectivity.
