Sharp Japan has released a series of Full HDTV AQUOS which features LED backlit display. There are 4 models on the series: LC-40LX1 (40-inch), LC-46LX1 (46-inch), LC-52LX1 (52-inch), and LC-60LX1 (60-inch). All of the TV on the series featuring amazing 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 30% energy consumption decrease compared to previous models of GX series. LX Series has full HD 1080p pixel resolution with built-in accoustic, 3 HDMI port, component and composite port, S-video jack, ethernet, modem, audio input jack, and RS232.
LC-40LX1, LC-46LX1, LC-52LX1, LC-60LX1 LCD TVs are available for $2800, $3900, $5000, $6100 respectively.
