Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has announced their new Samsung Wave (S8500) which is claimed to be the first cellphone based on Samsung bada – the new Samsung’s new open mobile platform. It comes with 3.3-inch AMOLED touchscreen, TouchWiz 3.0 UI, A-GPS, 720p HD video playback dan recording.

Samsung Wave S8500 also equipped with 5.0 MP autofocus camera with LED flash, 1GHz processor for extreme graphic performance, Integrated Social Hub for organizing your social networking needs, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and virtual 5.1 surround speaker. This cellphone which measures 118x56x10.9mm is going to hit the market beginning April 2010, but no words on pricing yet.
