After releasing a hybrid digital camera, Samsung NX10, they released a compact digital camera into the market called Samsung PL80. This new 12.2MP compact camera is for beginner who choose a lightweight point and shoot camera instead of heavy full-featured DSLRs. PL80 comes with 28mm wide angle lens, capable of zooming up to 5x optical. To make it more beginner’s friendly, Samsung also equipped the camera with dual image stabilization to reduce blurry images.
Samsung PL80 camera featuring many automatic controls such as Advance Scene Recognition, focusing option, Perfect Portrait System with Face Detection, Smile Shot, Blink Detection, Red Eye Fix, Beauty Shot or even HD video recording with 640×480 at 30fps. This new video recording feature is not available on its predecessor, PL70.
No words on pricing yet for Samsung PL80.
