Having trouble adjusting brightness on Ubuntu in your Samsung N120 Netbook? If the monitor brigtens and dims randomly, then you’ve got problem. Unfortunately, there are no settings on N120 to make it work properly.

Low brightness on N120 laptop could be annoying, especially when you are working under dim light condition, a brighter monitor would be better. Samsung N120 allows user to set power save mode but not to adjust monitor brightness when running on battery. A tweak of this problem is by adding the LCD screen applet to the control panel on your netbook.
