Samsung has announced their next generation Android smartphone, equipped with built-in small pico-projector called Samsung I8250. It is a cellphone that suitable for business and professional to get rid the need of carrying big projector while on the go. Even those small projectors are big enough compared to this! I8250 comes with large 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED LCD, 8MP camera, 16GB NAND storage space, and of course the pico-projector running advanced TI (Texas Instrument) DLP (Digital Light Processing) technology to project image on wall for presentations.
Other I8250 specs include HSDPA/HSUPA/UMTS networks, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11n WiFi. This won’t be cheap, as it includes DLP pico-projector which cost signifantly to the smartphone. No words on pricing yet, but it is expected to hit the Asia and Europe markets in third quarter this year.
