Samsung G810

Samsung G810 is large, thick and quite heavy. Despite its weight, this mobile phone looks luxurious and a perfect match for those who are looking for a professional designed cellphone. Samsung retained their tradition on luxury by using high quality material and using top-notch visual design. The buttons layout also sweeten the looks of this phone and definitely can grab user attention in a snap for the first impression.

Samsung G810 runs with Symbian S60 3rd Edition FPI OS. It’s a bit slow compared to other Nokia mobile phone that has the latest update FP2. With the FPI OS, the G810 should be able to display 16.7 million colors, unfortunately the G810 can only display TFT 262,144 pixels with QVGA resolution on 2.6″ diagonal screen. It is a bit smaller compared to N95.

The G810 comes with 5MP lens and capable of displaying maximal resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels with Xenon flash to lighten photos you captures. Other features on the camera includes ISO options, White Balance, 3x Optical Zoom, Face Detection, WDR Optimizer and Geotag. Image processing is slower, but the result should please you. Video recorder doesn’t reach 30fps and max out in 22fps. Samsung G810 is capable of playing RealPlayer and Flash files. Supported formats are RMV, MPEG4, dan FLV videos.

Samsung G810 also includes Quickoffice and PDF support for office activities. This should be sufficient for mobile users that send files via email over HSDPA network. With lithium ion 1200 mAh battery, it seems that the cellphone battery is quite large, but large enough to power those Xenon flash and not running low quite easily.
