Samsung has released a green phone, Samsung Blue Earth. This environmental-friendly touchscreen mobile phone comes with blue design, sleek design and offer many multimedia features. This is called “green” because it is made from Post Consumer Material (PCM) which is an extraction from water bottles.

The material help reduce fuel consumption and carbon emission, since you already carry it around and not obviously would not burn it into flames. Looks like Samsung also embedded eco mode which you can click with one button for screen brightness, backlight duration and bluetooth energy savings. Other features worth to look is the Eco Walk, which is a built-in pedometer to calculate CO2 emission reduction from motor vehicle. This function alone is able to count the number of trees that has been saved. Samsung phone Blue Earth is available for $610.
