Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 is now available to pre-order. With the retro good looks and strong performance, the camera although a bit heavier and larger carry some good optics. It’s not a match for DSLR shutter, but GF1 is responsive enough than standard camera on its own class.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1 Features
- 4/3-type 12.1-megapixel Live MOS sensor; clear images even when taken at high ISO sensitivity

Pictures were taken from auto preset looked quite vibrant in variety of lighting conditions, although the close-ups not very sharp enough, probably because of the 1.7 wide angle lens. Another cool feature on the camera is the 720p video mode with fast autofocus.
