It’s been a day since Apple is rumored to release the new Macbook Pro based on Intel i5/i7 newest processor. After having a look at the news, Apple official site and retail shops, no words about the Macbook refresh. On Apple store for instance, Macbook Pro for 17-inch screen still have the old specs: 2.8GHz or 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 6MB on-chip shared L2 cache running 1:1 with processor speed.
Despite the rumor, Apple retail sales of Mac computers have jumped over 40% last month compared to the same month in 2009. The big jump was due to the refresh of the MacBook Pros last year. Sadly we have no information whether the rumor is going to be reality or not considering there is no words about it anywhere. Maybe we should wait a little longer to get the new Macbook Pro in our hands. Stay tuned.
