If you’ve got a signal of overheating from your laptop, you should check with temperature monitoring programs. Many cases of overheating caused by GPU / graphic card. Physical Check for Overheating
Other than software tests, you should also check for physical blockage which causing overheating problems, such as dust in vents, heatsink/pipes not properly secured, fans not working correctly, or improper use of where to use the notebook.
You should always use your laptop on clean, hard, and flat surfaces, but never on beds, couch, or laps.
