Kodak Zi6 Fix on SD Card

Looks like this problem is caused by the SD card. Many users experience this problem when using 8GB SD card, so first thing you should try is changing the SD card to a lower capacity, like 2GB. If it does work, then the camera must be having a difficulty on processing large capacity SD cards. If it doesn’t, then you should check your SD card. You can use external SD card reader or using your SD card slot which is on your laptop to read it. If it reads fine, then your camera must be having a problem and you might need a professional assistance by bringing it to the service center. But if it doesn’t read, you can try formatting the card.

When formatting the card, remember to use your camcoder to format the SD card. The reason you should do this because every SD card format is not the same on each camera, so you might not be able to use the card if you formatted it on the PC or your laptop.
