iPhone 3.0 doesn’t fully delete emails. This has been found by someone named Matt Jenssen when he was searching for something on his iPhone through the latest OS 3.0 new homescreen search. He noticed some of the result that shouldn’t be there. He found emails that were supposed to be gone.

After running second test, he found the same. It must be some bugs from iPhone 3.0. Here’s some video explaining about this strange behaviour. Just be sure to check your emails on iPhone.
