It is expected that the chip deals causing a delay on the MacBook Pros release date, as it is now clear that Intel is struggling to meet demand for its new family of Core mobile processors, i5/i7 for MacBook and MacBook Pro – according to published report.
DigiTimes says that Intel’s latest core i3/i5/i7 series notebook chips are on a tight suplly because of high order from Acer. Although the report doesn’t specifically name Apple, but it claims that Intel is giving priority to major clients, this should include Apple and now smaller notebook makers are going into line for waiting the production.
Well, we’ll have to wait for a little longer to get those MacBook Pro sometime this year.
