InFocus recently has announced the shipping of their new InFocus SP8602 home theater projector, as they announced earlier in October 2009 that this projector would ship but didn’t. The projector comes with Texas Intruments DLP DarkChip with BrilliantColor which capable of displaying 1 billion colors, Pixelworks DNX 10-bit video processor with amazing 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, and maximum contrast ratio of 30,000:1 with 1300 lumens brightness.
The lens is perfectly centered with the room of shifting to +5% to -30% in the vertical plane and +/- 15% horizontally. The projector can projects up to 300-inches wide with warping features to adjust the displayed pictures. It is available in various colors to match with your furniture. Even the skin is paintable. No words on pricing yet though.
