If your Lenovo IdeaPad S10-2 doesn’t detect webcam on Windows XP, you might want to read the workaround below to get your web camera working again. S10-2 has a combo button to enable the camera on and off by pressing Fn+Esc. When you press the button, camera’s status will be displayed on the bottom right of your screen.

If pressing Fn+Esc doesn’t do anything, try double clicking the “My Computer” icon on the desktop, find and click on “USB Video Device”. You will be shown whether the camera is working or not.
