If you have HTC HD2, then you wouldn’t have to worry about entering dark alley or walking down a dark corner of the street, since you can turn your cellphone into a flashlight (or a torch some people said) with this app. Moreover, you don’t need to bring heavy and large flash light. All you have to do is put your phone in your pocket. The flashlight program for HTC HD2 helps to turn the phone into a flashlight using a standard LED flash.

Once you launch the application, animation will start and demonstrate how the things work. You can then change the intensity of the light. This can be easily done by touching the screen which will bring the brightness level of the flashlight into your preferred settings. The UI is good and simple enough for mobile users and you can see the screen to find out whether the virtual flashlight on / off. This HTC flashlight app might be included in the official firmware update for HTC devices. But if you can’t wait, you can download it from XDA-developers as a separate CAB-file.
