HP Z400 Workstation BIOS Update 2009

HP Z400 workstation BIOS update 2009 contains some new features such as improving fan control when 5 or more SATA are installed in your workstation, update F10 (Computer Setup utility) that makes it no longer display Intel HT (Hyper Threading) technology option when the CPU in the workstation doesn’t support HT feature.

It also improve the way USB flash drives are handled, sot it makes the workstation boot faster as it speed up reading flash drives on booting. BIOS workaround also introduced in the update for certain malfunction PCie cards, for preventing them from affecting proper workstation operation during power up or shutdown. Error messages are cleaned up, when sometimes showed up by previous BIOS version following a reboot when some error occurs known by hardware. This messages are no longer displayed during system operation or when computer starts.
