You must follow the instructions from 5.1 to 5.11, and remove all parts. You don’t need to remove the laptop feet, section 5.4. You can remove all three buttons on the system board, because you can not test, but the system board, and it is very difficult to return. Next solder a wire to pin 1 on the tape touches and 2-pin connection for the MUTE button.
