Hewlett-Packard has introduced a new touchscreen laptop, HP EliteBook 2740p. This high performance laptop comes with a 12.1-inch LED display or optional outdoor-view display for viewing in natural light. This convertible tablet has a multitouch screen which rotates to lay flat on the keyboard.
Touchscreen laptops are always considered high price when it is compared with business laptops which are available for less than $1,000. With the starting price of $1,599, HP EliteBook 2740p is equipped with Intel Core i5/i7 processor, 8GB RAM, and a 250GB HDD. This notebook also includes a 6-cell battery which lasts up to five hours. To make it longer, a second add-on battery is available to extend the life up to 11 hours.
HP EliteBook 2740p is going to hit the market in April for around $1,599.
