How to set higher resolution on Lenovo ThinkPad T500? This problems occurs many laptop users with Windows 7 operating system, as they only get 1280×800 pixel resolution. If you want to play games or watching movies, it will be a lot of fun using higher resolution. But it seems that Windows 7 doesn’t support it.
Lenovo ThinkPad T500 laptop (20893PG model) uses 1280×800 as the native resolution. Other users reported that this is fixed on Windows 7, but not for other OS. If you have Windows 7 installed on your laptop, you’re practically stuck with 1280×800 pixel (for now) since we haven’t found other solution this far other than switching your OS to another one. This problem might be caused by Lenovo Thinkpad T500 display drivers and yet to be resolved pretty soon. For now, just stick on the native resolution or dual boot using Windows Vista or XP.
