Uninstall Toshiba HDD Protection

First of all, log in as an Administrator to your laptop before uninstall Toshiba HDD Protection program that we guide you step-by-step below:

  1. Click Start, navigate to Computer, right click and click on Manage
  2. In the left pane, click on “Services and Applications” to show all the services running on your laptop
  3. See if you can find Toshiba HDD Protection service.
  4. Click the stop button (or right click on the service and click stop).
  5. Double click on the service to open the Properties window.
  6. On the “Startup Type” choose Disabled. This will disable the service so the service won’t be started again every reboots.
  7. Click OK to closse and close Computer Management window.
  8. Hit Ctrl+Alt+Del at the same time and click “Task Manager” button
  9. Navigate the “Processes” tab to see what processes are running.
  10. Left click on Toshiba HDD Protection and click “End Process” to kill the process and release some memory.
