There are times when you want to wipe your hard disk on your Lenovo laptops, like cleaning all the data from virus or you want to clean install a new OS into the notebook. Some OS have bulk files or hidden backup partition that is not deleted when you try to install a new OS. There is a program to wipe out your entire laptop memory. Just make sure that the predesktop option on the BIOS is disabled.
The hard disk wiper program is called Secure Data Disposal. It is a Windows application which build a IBM PC-DOS bootable floppy diskettes for wiping hard disk drives. Not very big tool actually, only 11.9 MB. Secure Data Disposal 1.3 can be downloaded here.
