FYI, there is support for AD2P. You may want to update your Widcomm driver first. It is the same as Windows 7. Go to device manager to see what model you own. Download the original driver from Asus and install it.

If it is recognized and paired but no connection, no sound, or no controls, it may because the driver connect to the headset, but not the headphone. To get it working, try these steps:

  1. Right click on the bluetooth icon in the taskbar and go to Properties.
  2. Once you get there, go to Audio and it should list your device.
  3. Double click (or right click and select Connect) on the stereo bluetooth headset and it should try to connect.
  4. If it works, great.

After following the above steps, if the headset still doesn’t work, you will have to troubleshoot it. Try restarting both the device, reboot the laptop, or un-pair and re-pair them again.
