HP ProBook 4510s comes with USB 2.0 docking station. Screen problems sometimes occurs when you try to dock with Samsung 920n monitor which need 1280×1024 pixel resolution which in fact is not supported.
Docking Problems Fix
The docking problems culprit is not because Windows automatic update, which amplifies the situation by freezing the screen about 1 inch when programs are being opened in explorer. Another symptomp is when you try to put some icon and move the icon, it makes copy of itself on the screen.
You have to stop the docking from the tray if you want to use your laptop without docking. After that, shut down the machine.
