Laptop users reported that they have found Media Center problem when using Windows 7 and reinstalling drivers (both Windows and Realtek Vista drivers) doesn’t fix the problem as this is a temporary solution and the problem still exists.

Apparently, the problem using Media Center on Windows 7 might be because Secure Audio Path module failed and not a hardware or driver issue. The simple solution is by temporary reducing the amount of memory available to Windows 7. Here’s how you do it:
- Start and type msconfig
- Select msconfig.exe
- Navigate to the boot tab
- Click Advanced options.
- Select Maximum memory and edit it to 2047.
- Close and reboot when asked.
Hope this will solve your Media Center problem.
