Fix Jerky Winamp Sound Problem

Jerky playback of simple audio file on Winamp is not normal and should be resolved soon. It’s not related to processor, RAM, indexing, system restore, or even HDD speed. You can use these simple approach to see whether it resolves your problem or not:

  1. Increase the buffers for the Direct Sound plugin in Winamp
  2. Download and install the newest audio drivers
  3. Restarting computer

If that doesn’t resolve your issue, you might want to run DPC test to find the possible culprit, or just using try and error disabling at least unused background application like Marvel (LAN if not used), or some bluetooth drivers. Or you might want to download the latest laptop drivers and upgrade your VGA card.
