How to Fix Hidden Library in Mac OS X Lion
The problem is,~/Library folder is hidden from the sight of common user. This makes it more difficult to check for application support, preferences and many which advanced user may need to gain access to. The ~/Library folder is easy to spot on, but you might want to make it unhidden permanently.
The ~/Library folder is hidden for some reason. It prevents you to delete crucial files which might need for the operating system to work properly. However, many unused files can also be deleted from this folder to gain more space on the hard drive.
You can fix hidden library in Mac OS X Lion by using terminal, or by pressing Option when in the folder and then clicking “Go” in the finder. Once this is done, switch to column view and then drag ~/Library folder to favorite sidebar. The hidden Library is now show up.
