HDMI Error Correction

Follow these steps below to be able to watch bluray on second monitor with your Acer 6920 notebook:

  1. Right click on the desktop
  2. Select Personalize
  3. Select display settings

You will be presented by screen settings. Choose HDMI output only. Also make sure the sound is going out of the HDMI rather than internal speakers. You can do this by right clicking on Acer eAudio manager (it should be located on system tray with a little green square). Select settings and tick HDMI Audio output or S/PDIF for your home theatre system.

If you still can hear sound from your internal speaker, you will have to uninstall Realtek laptop drivers and replace it with Realtek High Audio Driver 6.0.1.5582 or latest version.
