Users of Compaq Presario V6500 are having problem with Epson printer which is unable to recognize this all-in-one printer. Uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver just won’t fix the problem, it refuses to uninstall the printer files and there is an error saying that the device can’t be recognized. To make it worse, USB ports on laptop works with all the devices, but not with Epson.
Some possible reason might follow Compaq Presario V6500 unrecognized Epson all-in-one printer, but one workaround you can try is by going to a restore point date and time you know when the printer was working. This is better than restoring the whole machine back to factory. The program to do this is Microsoft system restore which you can access via recovery manager.
