Fix Dell Inspiron 1440 Wireless Problem

Dell Inspiron 1440 is one of the great things that Dell can ever produce with having great reliability. Although this might be a good laptop to work with, you might experience problem with it once in a while, one of them might be the wireless problem. Wireless card on Dell Inspiron 1440 could loses connection to the router and just don’t want to show any available wireless network, even they are exists on wireless range.  However, the problem is temporarily fixed by restarting your laptop. But the problem will return 15 minutes later. How to fix this?

Wireless problem might happen because of bad wireless card, but this assumption would be easily break because Dell Inspiron 1440 comes with famous 1397 b/g wireless card. The wireless card itself having good reputation on working with various made of wireless router. If not the hardware, the culprit must be the software, in this case, the driver or software to turn on and off the wireless application. You might try to turn the power saving for wireless card to see if it works.

If above solution doesn’t solve your problem, you might want to consider using direct dial-up connection, or contact Dell to fix it. Before doing that, you can try reinstalling drivers and take note what happened. Don’t forget to restart your Dell Inspiron 1440 laptop after successfully reinstallation.
