Black and Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) is reported shown on computer users who get black screen when booting after uninstalled NVIDIA driver on Windows 7. The symptoms goes as follow: Windows 7 would be loading well at load screen, but then goes black when it is going to the login screen. These are the necessary steps you are going to do to fix this problem:

  1. Uninstall the card driver in Control Panel. This would make the computer back to its default 800×600 pixel resolution, just like on the Safe Mode.
  2. Download CCleaner and DriveSweeper to remove video card installation.
  3. Shut down and cold boot your PC.
  4. Go to Adapter and Update Driver if you have the original drivers.
  5. If you don’t have the original driver, then download the VGA driver you thought that worked before updating and having this problem.
