Microsoft Security Essentials runs in background process without interrupting your current applications and will alert you when something happens. Using smart CPU and memory usage limiter, this antivirus kept your foreground applications run faster.
It uses real-time approaches from attacks. Dynamic Signature Service technology is used to update to current virus definition update when it is available. The Security Essentials supports Windows XP Service Pack 2, SP3 32bit and 64bit, Vista, and Windows 7.
