Clear CMOS Satellite L550

Toshiba Satellite Pro L500 is a great laptop with premium gloss and metallic design, big 17.3 inch HD TruBrite wide aspect display supporting 1600×900 pixel resolution, HDMI inputs and also eSATA/USB 2.0 port. Moreover, the integrated numeric pad (standard size 105-keys black keyboard) makes it easier to do spreadsheets job. Surely this laptop is good for business, but if you would like to play games with it, you might want to find another notebook. Although the processing speed is fast with a good dedicated graphic card, it is clearly intended for business purpose – not gaming.

Sometimes, when using the laptop, you might want to clear the CMOS Satellite L550 because of loss BIOS password. Your kid might have played the laptop and accidentally setup the BIOS password but couldn’t remember what character she input. Parallel cable and shorting pins would not resolve this issue, but removing the battery inside and look for jumper in order to clear the BIOS. If that doesn’t work, you can try flashing the BIOS.

If you decided to flash BIOS Satellite L550, it would fix HDD access problem as well. Hope this resolve your problem.
