This is a good news for those of you who are looking for a good nettops with Linux, since retailer Newegg is selling a first generation of ASUS Eee Box EB2020 nettop with Red Flag Linux, a Chinese Linux distribution which is designed to look like Windows XP. Apart from the free Linux (which obviously you can change later), this box comes with 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi support, Ethernet card, mouse and keyboard.

Averatec has released a new Intel Pine Trail netbook, Averatec N1200 which is aimed for professional users who are looking for fashionable yet high quality design. It comes with 10.1-inch LCD display, capable of vieweing 1024×600 maximum pixel resolution with LED backlight.

Analysts suspected that Apple is going to update Macbook Pro. This is because Apple have limited supplies of the notebook. It is also suspected that the new Macbook Pro will have faster Intel Processor, new graphic cards and performance upgrade. It is still not known when the release date is, but it is expected that the new notebooks will be around March/June.
