Catalyst Install Manager Has Stopped Working on Windows 7

Fix Catalyst Install Manager Failed

One simple fix is to delete the default driver and then reinstall the driver again. But if this doesn’t resolve your problem on your laptop and you have no access to any Catalyst features, then you should check for privileges on Windows 7. Make sure that you have the access as Administrator. After that, run the installer as Administrator by right clicking on the installation setup and select “Run as Administrator”.

Other solution is by running Windows Update on your laptop and wait to see if there is any ATI driver available to download. If you have Catalyst on your desktop, you can try downloading mobility modder and get it to mod a desktop version of ATI latest drivers.

If those solution still don’t resolve your problem, you can try upgrade your OS to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Hope you can use Catalyst Control Center after applying the solution above.
