Buffalo has announced their new NAS Server, TeraStation TS-XEL/R5. This server solution comes with three capacity of hard drive, 2TB, 4TB and 6TB. In addition, backup feature is also integrated with support for up to four SATA drives in RAID 0, RAID 5, RAID 5 or 10.
For networking connectivity, Buffalo TeraStation NAS TS-XEL/R5 comes with two USB 2.0 ports and two Gigabit Ethernet ports for faster connection. A hot-swappable support is also included to add a better backup and restoring process of the data, where you can replace the hard drive even the machine is running.
Apple Time Machine and Active Directory is also integrated. Buffalo TeraStation NAS TS-XEL/R5 is available in Japan market for around $946 to $1535.
