Seems like ati2dvag.dll BSOD error comes randomly, not just after resuming from a Hibernate mode on computer. Many users also reported to get error while resume from standby, hibernate and locked up the computer with a blue screen, or fail to power on the laptop or PC. The fix for this problem is quite simple, by following the solution below.

Hibernate Video Card Error Solution
First of all, ati2dvag.dll error problem is related to incompatibility of the ATI drivers with the operating system on your computer. The drivers may work fine on XP, but get error on Vista.
You can try fixing this problem by going to device manager and change CPU to AGP controller to PCI-to-PCI bridge (if your card is an AGP one).
Other workaround is by uninstalling all the ATI drivers and then rolling back to version you think it worked. Some users reported that they had a problem with 8.12 driver and by installing 8.11 vga drivers, it worked fine.
