This is a good news for those of you who are looking for a good nettops with Linux, since retailer Newegg is selling a first generation of ASUS Eee Box EB2020 nettop with Red Flag Linux, a Chinese Linux distribution which is designed to look like Windows XP. Apart from the free Linux (which obviously you can change later), this box comes with 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi support, Ethernet card, mouse and keyboard.
Newegg is listing the nettop for $219.99, but after a $30 mail-in rebate the price discounted to $189.99 + free shipping.
