Apple iPad 2 is the next generation of iPad tablet which is thinner and lighter. This tablet PC release date is delayed in Japan due to the recent disaster. Apple rep told reuter, “while the country and [Apple] teams focus on recovering from the recent disaster”
If iPad comes with just one color, iPad 2 is now available with two different colors, white and black. When it was launched in the US, iPad 2 WiFi was sold for the price of $499 for 16GB, $599 for 32GB and $699 for 64GB specs. If you want an iPad 2 WiFi + 3G, you would need to add $130 for each models, including 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

The Apple store is opened to tsunami victims, providing the victims with free WiFi and calls to contact their relatives in other cities in Japan. No words on the upcoming Apple iPad 2 release date, but it is said to be on track. If iPad 2 is out of your budget, you might want to get Android pads instead.
