Acer has announced two new notebook which are based on AMD Tigris, Aspire 5542 (15.6-inch monitor) & 7540 (17.3-inch monitor). Both laptops will have WIndows 7 preloaded.
Acer Aspire 5542 & 7540 Specifications
Acer Aspire 5542 and 7540 come with AMD Turion II processor with 640GB hard drive, 4GB DDR2 RAM, 512MB ATI Radeon 4570 graphic card that support up to 1366×768 pixel and 1600×900 pixel resolution. Both will have 2.5 hours battery life.
Different from other new notebook, these two devils are heavy for mobile uses. Aspire 5542 has 3.26 kg and 7540 has 2.8 kg.
These Acer laptops will be available from £499.99.
